The Denes Beach at Southwold is a quiet shingle beach backed by sand dunes and marshes. Denes Beach is less busy than the main Southwold beach, and the great thing is The Denes allows dogs all year, whilst the main Southwold beach has seasonal restrictions.
The beach is between the mouth of the river Blyth and the historic seaside town of Southwold, popular with dog walkers or those wanting a rural beach.
The beach has toilets, parking, summer lifeguards and a dog-friendly cafe-bar with more facilities just a short walk away at Southwold.
