Access and Facilities
Ettrick Bay is easily accessible by car from anywhere on the Isle of Bute. The island can be reached by ferry from the mainland, with regular services running from Wemyss Bay to Rothesay, which takes about 35 minutes. Once on the island, follow the signs to Ettrick Bay, just a short drive from Rothesay.
There are car parks at the south and north ends of the bay. The southern end has no facilities, but the northern parking area has the dog-friendly Ettrick Bay Tea Rooms, toilets and a campsite.
