The Red Lion is a dog-friendly pub in Dagnall, a small village just below Whipsnade Zoo and in the middle of An Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

The Red Lion offers freshly prepared dishes using as much as possible locally sourced produce, from curry night to fish Friday, as well as our main menu, which offers a variety of dishes catering for all tastes.

The Red Lion was built in 1740 and retains many original features, along with offering a substantial beer garden.

Dogs are welcome in the garden and bar area.
