Dog Access and Rules
Wightwick’s gardens are the perfect place for a visit with your dog, with 17 acres to explore. Dogs are welcome on short leads in most of our outdoor areas. Well-behaved dogs are also welcome in the outside and indoor stables part of the tearoom.

Except for assistance dogs, dogs are not allowed in the Manor, Gallery, kitchen garden, main tearoom area, the Old Manor Shop or bookshops.
Things To See & Do
Wightwick Manor is located just west of Wolverhampton and is easily accessible from the city and surrounding areas. Built in 1887 by Theodore Mander, a wealthy industrialist, the manor is a prime example of the Arts and Crafts movement. The house is filled with Pre-Raphaelite art, William Morris designs, and exquisite craftsmanship, offering a rich cultural and historical experience. The gardens complement the house and provide a picturesque setting for leisurely strolls.

You are a bit limited on a visit to Wightwick Manor as many of the historical elements are out of bounds when accompanied by a dog. Explore the extensive grounds surrounding the manor. While the kitchen gardens are off-limits, the wider estate offers plenty of space for you and your dog to wander and enjoy the scenery. Take a stroll through the nearby woodland paths, providing a peaceful retreat and a great opportunity for exercise.
Access and Facilities
Wightwick Manor and Gardens are easily accessible. They are located just off the A454, and ample parking is available on site. The nearest train station is Wolverhampton, from where you can take a bus or taxi to the manor.
Facilities include a car park, toilets and a tea room.
