Muchalls beach is a small dog-friendly beach that has some sand with low tide. The beach and nearby coastline have very interesting scenery with sea stacks, arches, caves and rock pools to explore.

The beach has no facilities and is on the coast path although the nearby village has a dog-friendly pub. Care must be taken when descending the steep slope from the coast path to the beach.
