The Crown Inn is a traditional coaching inn on the high street in Old Amersham. It has an excellent location with easy access to the shops and pubs in Old Amersham, and it offers great dog walking in the Chilterns Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty or can act as a rural base for day trips into London.
You can eat in the bar area, which serves seasonal dishes made with locally sourced ingredients. The menu includes vegetarian options and a drinks menu of wines and local ales.
If you want to stay overnight, many rooms allow dogs.
Dog Access and Rules
Dogs are welcome in the bar area and courtyard and can stay overnight in one of the dog-friendly rooms. You must notify the hotel when booking to ensure one of the dog-permitted rooms is allocated to your booking.
Access and Facilities
Old Amersham is a short distance from Amersham station,and you can take the tube or train into London. The train can also take you to other Chiltern market towns, like Wendover, which we think you should visit.
