About
Jesus Green and Midsummer Common are two of Cambridge’s most popular green spaces, located beside each other and alongside the River Cam.
There are designated areas where your dog can run off-lead, particularly in the large, open grass areas of Jesus Green. Midsummer Common may have grazing cattle, so dogs will need to be on leads. However, in general, you should be mindful of other park users.
You can stroll along the River Cam, which shares paths with pedestrians and cyclists, a great place to take a riverside walk or run with your dog. By Jesus Green, you have a lock where you can chill and watch the boats move through it.
Midsummer Common occasionally hosts events, fairs, and food markets. This does mean the area may be busier during these times, but it can be fun to visit if your dog is comfortable in such environments.
These parks are perfect for enjoying nature, having off-lead fun, and relaxing with your dog while exploring one of Cambridge’s most scenic areas!
