About
Penrhyn Bay, a charming seaside village on the North Wales coast, has everything a dog-loving adventurer could wish for scenic coastal walks, although with a lack of facilities.
Dog Access and Rules
Penrhyn Bay Beach welcomes dogs year-round, allowing you and your dog to enjoy lovely walks, especially when combined with The Little Orme.
Things To See & Do
Penrhyn Bay Beach is a shingle and sand beach on the Conwy, North Wales coast, between the popular towns of Llandudno and Rhos-on-Sea. The beach is quiet because it doesn’t have any facilities. Although it has a long seafront, it is backed by residential estates and a golf course.
It’s a good option for dog walks. You have the beach, but you can also head up The Little Orme or along the beach towards Rhos-on-Sea.
Access and Facilities
Penrhyn Bay Beach is conveniently accessible by both car and public transport. If you’re driving, it’s a quick journey from the A55, with limited parking on the seafront, Glan-Y-Mor Road. For those travelling by bus, regular services connect Penrhyn Bay with surrounding areas like Llandudno and Colwyn Bay, making it a straightforward journey. Once you arrive, the beach is only a short walk from the village.
