About
If you’re wandering through the cobbled streets of St Ives and fancy a bite to eat, Beer & Bird is a cracking dog-friendly choice. This restaurant has built its reputation on two key offerings: craft beer and fried chicken, with a plant-based menu also available. The menu is packed with wings, burgers, loaded fries, and indulgent twists on classic comfort food. It’s the sort of place where you come hungry and leave happy.

Alongside the food, there’s a brilliant line-up of local and international craft beers, ciders, and spirits. Whether you’re in the mood for something hoppy, smooth or a little bit quirky, there’s always something new to try.
Beer & Bird is open most evenings, and you can book online if you’d like to plan, though they also keep tables available for walk-ins. Perfect for when you fancy something spontaneous after a day in St Ives.
Dog Access and Rules
Dogs are welcome throughout the restaurant, so your four-legged friend can join you at the table while you tuck into your meal. The atmosphere is relaxed and friendly, making it a great spot to stop after a day of exploring the harbour or nearby beaches.
Access and Facilities
Beer & Bird is located in the main shopping street of St. Ives, just back from the harbour front. The front entrance has some steep steps that may be a problem for dogs, but if you take the road to the right, you will find a flat entrance.
