Cornwall Dog-Friendly Destination Guide

Cornwall is the peninsula in the southwest of Great Britain famous for its beaches and coastline. Although a lot of beaches have restrictions during the summer months there are plenty that allows dogs and the coast path provides some great dog walking. On the northern and west Atlantic shore it is exposed and wild with sheer cliffs and beaches of fine golden sand to be found at the likes of Watergate Bay, Perranporth, St Ives and Bude.

On the English Channel south coast the white, sandy beaches are more sheltered like at Falmouth. This coastline is known as the Cornish Riviera as it's more temperate with fine fishing villages.

The South West Coast Path provides great walking and easy all-year-round access to both coasts. Other attractions in Cornwall are the historic and prehistoric sites, the museums and the quaint villages.
