Crosscannonby beach is a dog-friendly shingle, and sand beach sometimes referred to as Allonby South beach. The remote stretch of beach sits in the middle of a long dog-friendly stretch joining up the Maryport beach and main Allonby beach.

As for facilities, all you have is a small car park.

The area is within the Solway Coast Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB), and dogs should be on a short lead between 1 March and 31 July to protect nesting birds at the high water marks.
