Teignmouth Beach is a long sandy beach in Teignmouth with a pier and promenade. The beach runs from East Cliff along the to the River Teign estuary.
You also have a small section of beach known as Teignmouth Back Beach that faces into the estuary rather than out to sea. Visiting the back beach gives you a different perspective of Teignmouth with working fishing boats.
Teignmouth Beach does not allow dogs from 1 April to 30 September along the seashore between the slipway at Eastcliff and the Lighthouse at the Point. Dogs are permitted from the lighthouse at the point around the Back Beach and between Eastcliff and Holcombe.
