About
Cramond Beach is a small dog-friendly sandy beach in the seaside village of Cramond, close to Edinburgh. You also have a large grass area behind the beach, which is useful when the tide is high, and a hard-surfaced promenade.
You can cross the causeway to Cramond Island at low tide, where you have a couple of small sandy beaches. You need to be aware of the tides (see local noticeboard) if crossing over to the island so that you don’t get cut off.
The beach can get busy as it is so close to Edinburgh city centre and allows dogs all year.
Facilities at Cramond beach include a car park, toilets, shops and a cafe.
