About
Cramond Beach is a small dog-friendly sandy beach in the seaside village of Cramond, close to Edinburgh. You also have a large grass area behind the beach, which is useful when the tide is high, and a hard-surfaced promenade.
You can cross the causeway to Cramond Island at low tide, where you have a couple of small sandy beaches. You need to be aware of the tides (see the local noticeboard) if crossing to the island, so you don’t get cut off.
Dog Access and Rules
Cramond Beach is dog-friendly all year and has no seasonal restrictions.
The beach can get busy as it is so close to Edinburgh city centre and allows dogs all year round.
Access and Facilities
Facilities at Cramond beach include a car park, toilets, shops and a cafe.
