Dog Access and Rules
St. James’s Park welcomes dogs, but there are a few restrictions. Dogs must be kept on a lead in certain areas, especially near the lake and Horse Guards Parade Ground.

While dogs aren’t allowed near the water or inside certain parts of the park, there’s still plenty of space for them to enjoy.
Access and Facilities
St. James’s Park is easy to reach via public transport. The closest tube stations are St. James’s Park Station (District and Circle lines) and Green Park Station (Jubilee, Piccadilly, and Victoria lines). You can also walk to the park from Victoria Station or Charing Cross Station within 15 minutes.
St. James’s Park offers dog-friendly cafes with an outdoor seating area and a few kiosks where you can grab a bite to eat or a coffee. Plenty of benches are throughout the park, and water fountains are available for humans and dogs.
