About
The Kings Arms sits on Berkhamsted High Street, just a short walk from all amenities, the canal and the railway station. A former 18th-century coaching inn, The Kings Arms offers great food, drink and accommodation.
There’s lots to discover on the doorstep of The Kings Arms. Running through the town, you’ll find the Grand Union Canal, perfect for a dog walk. Berkhamsted is set in the heart of the Chiltern Hills, where you can explore miles of footpaths spread across the Ashridge Estate, which looks particularly spectacular in the spring when carpeted in Bluebells. If you are looking for something historical, then Berkhamsted Castle is just a short stroll away.
Dog Access and Rules
Dogs are welcome in the Kings Arms on a lead in the bar and accommodation areas, although, unfortunately, not in the restaurant.
Overnight stays have an additional charge per night for your dog. Not all rooms allow dogs; you will need to inform them at the time of booking to ensure a dog-friendly room is allocated to you.
