The Rising Sun is a dog-friendly canal-side freehouse pub in Berkhamsted.

It’s a nice location; you can sit outside and watch the barges navigate through the lock. Although it does serve food, it is probably more of a real ale drinkers’ pub as many options to eat along this part of the canal.
