Things To See & Do
Lunderston Bay sits within the Clyde and Muirshiel Regional Park, and you have a good choice of walks. Footpaths take you south to Inverkip, northwards to the Cloch Point lighthouse, and beyond to Gourock.
The bay has a sandy beach backed by a grass area, both with scenic views across the Firth of Clyde to the Cowal Peninsula.
Access and Facilities
The bay is off the A770 near Gourock and Inverkip, with a beach parking area. Itโs accessible by train to Inverkip or Gourock, followed by a short taxi ride or walk. The locationโs proximity to Glasgow makes it a convenient day-trip option.
The beach facilities include a car park, toilets, and a grass area with picnic tables. On the opposite side of the road is a dog-friendly garden centre where dogs are welcome in the covered outside seating area of the cafe and restaurant.
