About
If you are in The Needles area of the Isle of Wight and you want to make a trip of it, The Albion Hotel in Freshwater Bay is a great option. It’s right by the beach, although it has seasonal restrictions so you can wake up to the sound of the waves.
The hotel also has a restaurant where you can grab a meal after a long walk. The menu’s got a good mix of classic British dishes, and after a day of trekking across the downs, a proper sit-down meal is well-earned. You can sit outside and enjoy the view if the weather’s nice. Just be aware that the number of dog-friendly tables is limited.
Dog Access and Rules
The Albion Hotel welcomes well-behaved dogs in one of their dog-friendly rooms. Overnight charges add to the cost, but the location is perfect for exploring The Needles area of the Isle of Wight.
If you don’t want to stay overnight but want a drink and/or a meal, then dogs are also welcome in the bar area and a dedicated area of the restaurant.
The beach at Freshwater Bay has seasonal restrictions, but if you want to visit in the peak season, you have other options nearby, like Alum Bay.
Access and Facilities
The hotel is easy to reach by car and has parking on-site for residents and diners.
