About
Nestled near the charming village of Seaview and close to Ryde on the Isle of Wight, Priory Bay is a hidden gem perfect for dog owners and their furry friends.
Dog Access and Rules
Dogs are welcome on Priory Bay Beach throughout the year, allowing you to enjoy this beautiful spot in any season.
Things To See & Do
It is a beautiful bay surrounded by trees and very little else. When the tide is out, it’s a large sandy beach with some pebbles, but when the tide is in, there is hardly any beach.
This is a remote beach, so it hardly gets busy, and the bay makes for a great dog walk combined with a beach visit.
This is more than a beach trip as the beach is bordered by woodland, providing public footpaths and additional areas to explore. Enjoy a walk through the trees and discover the natural beauty of the area.
Access and Facilities
This is a remote bay with no facilities, which is its charm. To access it, you must walk in from either side via Seagrove Bay or St Helens. You will also need to bring water and snacks as you have nothing besides a rural bay.
