The beach at Louisa Bay is smaller and quieter, just a short walk from Broadstairs’ main beach, Viking Bay.
Louisa Bay offers a more laid-back experience. It’s great for rock pooling, sandcastle building, or a peaceful paddle and shares a tidal pool (although no dogs are allowed) with Viking Bay. A small cafe and promenade make it a pleasant stop for those looking to escape the crowds without straying too far.
Dog Access and Rules
Lousisa Bay Beach is an all-year-round, dog-friendly beach, although from 1 May to 30 September, dogs must be on a lead between 10 am and 6 pm.
Access and Facilities
Facilities are more limited compared to those on larger Broadstairs beaches, buy you can still find basic amenities, such as a cafe kiosk and toilets.
