Beacon Hill is a park consisting of over 135 hectares (330 acres) of grassland and woodland and is a great place for dog walking. The hill is the second highest point in Leicestershire at 248 metres (814 ft).
Dog walkers, cyclists and horse riders alike can take advantage of the multi-use track, which loops around the park’s edge. There is also a network of paths throughout the park solely for walkers.
Dogs must be kept under close control at all times.
Beacon Hill has two car parks; the upper car park is off Beacon Road (LE12 8SP), and the lower car park is off Breakback Road (LE12 8TA), where you can also find a cafe.
