About
Golden Sands Beach sits just north of Mablethorpe town, next to the holiday park with the same name. It’s one of those stretches of sand that feels… easy. Nothing complicated. Big skies, clean water, and enough space for your dog to run.
It’s not wild like Theddlethorpe. It’s got more going on, although less busy than Mablethorpe itself. But if you know where to go, it’s a good shout for dog owners with no seasonal restrictions.
Dog-Friendly Policies
Golden Sands Beach is dog-friendly, but you need to be aware that as you head south towards Mablethorpe, you have seasonal restrictions, and if you head northwards towards Theddlethorpe, the beach is OK, but the dunes have restrictions.
Things To See & Do
From Golden Sands you’ve basically got one brilliant, simple principle: head north up the coast and keep the sea on your right until you reach the wilder Theddlethorpe stretch.
Access and Facilities
Getting to Golden Sands Beach is dead simple. If you’re staying in the holiday park, walk out the gate, and you’re pretty much there. If not, there’s parking on Quebec Road.
Public toilets and a cafe are near the beach entrance.
