About
Golden Sands Holiday Park is just outside Mablethorpe, up on the Lincolnshire coast. It’s a proper UK dog-friendly holiday spot, especially if your dog likes the beach.
Dog Access and Rules
Golden Sands welcomes dogs with open arms, along with most of Haven’s holiday parks. Dogs are allowed throughout the outdoor areas of the park and on the outdoor restaurant terrace. There’s a Bark Yard assault course for your dog to try, and nearby Golden Sands Beach is dog-friendly all year round.
What's On Offer
There’s a small supermarket onsite, a chippy, a pub-style restaurant, and outdoor seating where dogs are allowed.
Things To See & Do
The beach is a few minutes from the park. You go through the dunes and boom – sand for miles. There’s a dog ban area in the main stretch in Mablethorpe during summer, but you’re all set if you stick to the stretch by the park.
There’s a big boating lake in Mablethorpe, too. There’s not much for dogs to do in it, but the walk around is peaceful, and there’s a cafe.
You can also take your dog on the land train if they’re well-behaved.
Access and Facilities
You’ll want a car. The nearest train station is miles away, and bus services are a bit hit and miss, especially off-season. Parking is easy, as each caravan gets a spot.
