About
Sutton-on-Sea Beach sits quietly south of Mablethorpe on Lincolnshire’s coast. It is a sandy, clean, and very peaceful spot, ideal for dog-owning families who want a quiet day out at the beach.
Dog Access and Rules
Sutton-on-Sea Beach is dog-friendly, although the centre section does not allow dogs between 1 May and 30 September. Dogs are welcome on the beach north and south of the restricted area and the promenade all year.
Things To See & Do
This beach is never crowded and has beach huts or chalets that you can hire to shelter in or to store all the beach essentials that children need to have with them.
A large shipwreck is lying just offshore, so watch the signs indicating where it is. The promenade’s worth a wander too, with benches here and there for a sit-down.
Access and Facilities
You can get to Sutton-on-Sea by car from the A52. There are a few small car parks. The High Street is close to the front, so you don’t have to walk miles to get a drink or some food.
