Huisinis Beach

Huisinis Beach is a sandy dog-friendly beach with machair dunes in a secluded bay on the Isle of Harris.

You’ll find it at the end of a twisty road you come across the beautiful white sand beach overlooking the uninhabited Isle of Scarp and the Atlantic Ocean.

At the beach in the main car park, you have the North Harris Trust Huisinis Gateway building, which provides toilets and showers for visitors all year round. It has information on the local landscape and history. It’s also a great place to shelter on stormy days, where you can sit on the indoor picnic benches and just watch the crashing waves.

For those wanting to stay, you have the Huisinis Campervan Site, which provides several electric hook-up points in a sheltered spot overlooking the bay.
