About
Berrow beach is part of a six mile stretch of beach with sand dunes and firm sand. This is the second longest stretch of sand in Europe and features include secluded sand dunes, a ship wreck and marshland that attracts various seabirds.
At low tide a wide exposure of soft sand and mud is exposed leading to the water’s edge, but note that it is very dangerous to approach the water at low tide due to the mud.
Car park at Brean and the beach and dunes are warden patrolled in the summer.
Horse riding is also allowed on this beach.
