About
Three Cliffs Bay is a large dog-friendly sandy beach, no surprise in that it takes its name from the three cliffs that jut out into the sea. The ruins of Pennard Castle overlook the beach.
Pennard Pill Stream crosses the sand into the sea, and the bay is split into individual beaches backed by cliffs that, as the tide goes out, join to form a large expanse of sand, including Oxwich Bay beach to the west.
You will often see climbers on the 20m high limestone cliffs.

Access and Facilities
The bay has no facilities; the closest parking is at Southgate or Penmaen, followed by a walk along the coast path.
You do have some toilets in the nearby Holiday park.
Our Tips for Visiting with a Dog
This spectacular location never gets too busy. We recommend a visit at low to mid tide, as this offers the best access around the cliffs and space for dogs to run off lead.
