Dunnet Bay is located between the villages of Castletown and Dunnet in northern Scotland. This pristine beach stretches for over two miles along the stunning north coast, offering a beautiful escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life. The bay’s beach goes under two names: Castletown Beach is the southern stretch, and Dunnet Beach is the northern stretch.
There’s no shortage of activities to enjoy with your dog at Dunnet Bay:

Access and Facilities
Getting to Dunnet Beach is straightforward. If driving, use the postcode KW14 8XD for your sat-nav. There is a small car park at Castletown with no facilities and a larger one near Dunnet campsite and caravan park with seasonal toilets.
The nearest train station is in Thurso, about 10 miles away. Regular bus services connect the area to nearby towns.
While Dunnet Bay maintains its natural beauty, public toilets (seasonal) are at the car park. The village of Dunnet has a hotel that allows dogs in the garden.
