About
Glen Maye is a great dog walk down the fern woodland that takes you over a gorge and alongside waterfalls before reaching the pebble beach at the point where the river joins.
The glen comprises just under 12 acres of woodland on either side of the Rushen River and its main feature a waterfall. Towards the bottom of the glen is the Mona Erin wheelcase, one of the many water wheels that powered the local mining.
Facilities are at the top of the glen, including a car park and toilets.
