Access and Facilities
Girvan Beach is easily accessible by both car and public transport. By car, you can reach the beach via the A77, which connects Girvan to Ayr and Glasgow. If you’re travelling by train, Girvan train station is just a short walk from the beach, with regular connections from Glasgow and other nearby towns. There are also local bus services that stop near the beach.
The is one of the most popular beaches in Ayrshire and has the facilities you would expect in and around Girvan itself. There are options to park at the northern pier end or the southern end, although the south has a cafe and toilets more facilities exist at the northern end and this is the main used stretch.
