About
The beach to the north of the harbour is dog-friendly and often the beach is referred to as Aberaeron Beach but is actually the north beach as it is the beach north of the harbour. The beach is a pebble beach with groynes that stretches out from Aberaeron with the area closest to the harbour backed by a promenade and then, as you move away from the town, it is backed by the coast path.
The harbour itself at low tide has a small area of beach which is also dog-friendly.
To the south of the harbour, Aberaeron South Beach is a shingle/pebble mix with dog restrictions between the Harbour Walls and the groyne to the south of Beach Parade from the 1st of May to the 30th of September.
