About
The beach to the north of the harbour is dog-friendly and is often referred to as Aberaeron Beach, but it is actually the north beach, as it is the beach north of the harbour. The beach is a pebble beach with groynes that stretches out from Aberaeron, with the area closest to the harbour backed by a promenade and then, as you move away from the town, it is backed by the coast path.
The harbour itself, at low tide, has a small beach area that is also dog-friendly.
To the south of the harbour, Aberaeron South Beach is a shingle/pebble mix with some seasonal dog restrictions.
Dog Access and Rules
Aberaeron North and Harbour beaches allow dogs all year with no restrictions, whilst the South beach has dog restrictions between the Harbour Walls and the groyne to the south of Beach Parade from the 1st of May to the 30th of September.
