About
Visiting Tatton Park with your dog is an excellent choice for a day out in Cheshire. This historic estate boasts a beautiful mansion, expansive gardens, and a large deer park.
Dog Access and Rules
Tatton Park welcomes dogs in the Parkland, Farm and Stableyard outdoor area. It is particularly important to keep your dog on a lead in the park as it is home to free-roaming deer.
Unfortunately, dogs are not allowed, except assistance dogs, in the Gardens, Tatton Meres, Play Area, Mansion, Old Hall, shops, and restaurants. In some clearly-signed areas, including the Farm and parts of the Parkland, dogs must remain on a lead.
Things To See & Do
Tatton Park covers over 1,000 acres, including a deer park where herds of Red and Fallow deer roam freely. The park’s wide open spaces are ideal for long walks with your dog.
