About
Chapel Porth Beach is a small sandy cove that expands beyond the cliffs at low tide. If you check the tide times, heading south to Porthtowan Beach is possible. Alternatively, if the tide is not in your favour, the South West Coast Path extends along the cliff top in either direction.
Many caves are scattered along this stretch of coastline formed by coastal erosion, and you also have old mining ruins in the valley and on the cliffs, reminding you of the area’s tin and copper mining heritage.
