Dog Access and Rules
Mother Ivey’s Bay (Polventon Beach) allows dogs throughout the year, although need to be on leads between 10:00 am and 6:00 pm. This makes it an excellent choice for dog owners any time you wish to visit.

Mother Ivey’s Bay is set in a beautiful location, characterised by its clear blue waters and golden sands. The beach is somewhat sheltered by surrounding headlands, making it a peaceful spot for relaxation.
The area around the beach is known for its natural beauty and is a great place for nature lovers. The coastal paths offer excellent walking opportunities with spectacular views of the Atlantic.
Access and Facilities
The beach has no facilities, although it is next to a caravan park, it is hard to get to if you are not a resident at the park, you will need to park at nearby Harlyn Bay or at Trevose Head and, in both cases, take the coastal path.
