About
Seaview Holiday Park sits on a quiet little hill near the dog-friendly Bowleaze Cove, looking down toward the coast like it’s eavesdropping on the sea. It’s about 10 minutes outside Weymouth by car, but it feels tucked away from all the busyness, which makes it handy if you want a dog-friendly break without getting barked at by too many people or cars.
Dog Access and Rules
Seaview Holiday Park welcomes dogs and you can take well-behaved dogs into designated areas of the main restaurant and terrace.
What's On Offer
Seaview is a smaller holiday park, but it has all the basics plus a few bits that make things easy if you have a dog. There’s a small shop, laundry room, takeaway, indoor and outdoor pools, and a mix of pitches and caravans, so you’re covered whether you’re rocking up in a camper or staying static.
You can also use some of the facilities at nearby Weymouth Bay holiday park.
Things To See & Do
There is lots to do nearby, especially if your dog likes to walk. Bowleaze Cove is just down the hill. It’s made up of sand and pebbles, but dogs are allowed all year round. If your legs are up for it, you can stroll gently along the beachside path into Weymouth town. If the walk is too much, Weymouth itself’s only a short drive and has a few dog-friendly cafes.
Lulworth Cove and Durdle Door are just two must-see and dog-friendly places you can visit.
Access and Facilities
Getting to Seaview Holiday Park is pretty straightforward. If you’re driving, follow signs to Weymouth and then look for signs to Preston and Bowleaze. There’s on-site parking next to your caravan.
Public transport is also an option, but it’s not the quickest. A local bus goes between Weymouth and Seaview, stopping right outside the park.
