What's On Offer
Dyke is a Scottish word meaning wall, and the old castle walls used to form part of the boundary of this pretty park. There are information boards regarding this within the park. There is a small play park for children.
Things To See & Do
Dumfries is a small, former wool town, and is the final resting place of the Great Baird, Robert Burns. You can visit his mausoleum, located in the graveyard of St. Michael’s Church, and his house on Burns Street.
There are many lovely walks through the streets and parks of the town and surrounding area.
Access and Facilities
The park is slightly hilly. The paths are paved. There is a small car park access from Glencaple Road.
