Hartlepool North Sands is a sandy beach. As you head Northwards away from Hartlepool you have the Durham Coast and Castle Eden Dene National Nature Reserves which is known for spotting seals and seabirds.

In the middle of the beach you have a long working pier that carries pipelines.

Car parking is by the marina.
