About
Bexhill is perfect for a day out at the seaside, with two miles of promenade running behind a long, gently shelving shingle beach with sand when the tide goes out.
Bexhill Beach does not allow dogs from 1 May to 30 September between Brockley Road (Sovereign Light Cafe) and Sea Road (Sailing Club). Dogs must also be kept on a lead on the promenade between groynes 34 and 78.
Bexhill-on-Sea is a Victorian/Edwardian seaside town with a mix of historic attractions and a good selection of shops, restaurants and accommodation. You have a number of parking options along the foreshore including car parks and on-street parking.
