About
Jury’s Gap Beach, also known as Broomhill Sands, is located at the eastern end of Camber Sands near Jury’s Gap, hence the name. The beach contrasts with the traditional Sussex beach, offering great sand rather than pebbles.
Jury’s Gap Beach is the watersports zone of Camber Sands, and with a lot of flat sand at low tide, this is a good kite buggy beach. When taking your dog to the beach, you must be aware of the zones and keep your dog under close control.
Dog Access and Rules
Jury’s Gap Beach is dog-friendly but has some restricted zones and lead requirements. Unlike neighbouring Camber Sands, which has dog restrictions during summer, Jury’s Gap welcomes dogs, albeit with some zoned areas.
As this is one beach stretch, please check local signs to see where the Camber dog-free zone starts and ends.

Access and Facilities
Jury’s Gap Beach is just east of Camber Sands, about 5 miles from Rye. The easiest way to reach it is by car. Follow signs to Camber, then continue along the coastal road towards Lydd; you’ll find Jury’s Gap just past Camber.
There is the Broomhill Sands car park, but this can fill up early in the summer.
This is a rural beach, so facilities are limited. No public toilets exist, but you have an ice cream van and mobile food stall. Camber Sands is a short drive or long walk away if you need refreshments or a proper meal.
