The Pilot is a family-run pub and restaurant set amongst the outstanding landscape of Dungeness. The pub is close to the beach and welcomes well-behaved dogs, an ideal spot to get something to eat or drink whilst exploring the area or visiting the beach.

Dog friendly? Don’t you believe it! We sat at the only table bearing a “for customers with dogs” sign but was asked to move when we tried to order food at the bar. But we had Basil the terrier with us! Waitress then in a very discourteous manner showed us where we should have sat! We left confused. A strange way to run what is only a fish and chip shop.
