About
Pettycur Bay beach is a sheltered, small dog-friendly sandy bay backed by a small area of dunes. On a clear day, you can see Edinburg castle across the Firth of Forth.
At low tide, Pettycur Bay becomes a massive expanse of sand and mud flats nearly one mile wide. The beach goes out to Black Rocks and joins up in the west to Burntisland beach.
No facilities other than a car park by the harbour wall, you will need to travel to nearby Kinghorn or the Pettycur Holiday Park.
