About
Pettycur Bay beach is a sheltered, small, dog-friendly sandy bay backed by a small dune area. On a clear day, you can see Edinburg castle across the Firth of Forth.
At low tide, Pettycur Bay becomes a massive expanse of sand and mud flats nearly one mile wide. The beach extends to Black Rocks and, to the west, joins Burntisland beach.
Dog Access and Rules
Pettycur Bay Beach allows dogs year-round with no seasonal restrictions.
Access and Facilities
No facilities other than a car park by the harbour wall; you will need to travel to nearby Kinghorn or the Pettycur Holiday Park.
