About
Aberdaron Beach is a sandy west-facing beach in the picturesque village of Aberdaron on the Llyn Peninsula, protected by the headlands at either end. For those wanting to go in the water, the beach is large and gently shelving with relatively safe and clean bathing water.
Dogs are welcome on the beach if they keep to the left side of the slipway, while other areas have a seasonal ban between the 1st of April and the 30th of September.
Not only is the beach good for dog walking, but the whole area, including the headlands overlooking the northern part of Cardigan Bay, has numerous footpaths to explore.
Facilities at Aberdaron Beach include a car park, toilets, cafes, pubs and gift shops.
