The Fish & Eels is a classic riverside pub right by Dobbs Weir on the River Lea, perfect for popping in after a dog walk along the towpath. It’s part of the Vintage Inns group, set in a lovely old building from the 1800s, and it sits just beside the water, giving great views and easy access for dogs.
The pub offers a traditional menu, featuring fish and chips, burgers, pies, as well as cask ales, wine, and gin.
Dog Access and Rules
Dogs are allowed in the pub’s bar and outside seating areas. The outside area is excellent, as it overlooks the river and weir. For your dog, water and treats are also available.
Access and Facilities
There’s a small pub car park, and if it’s full, you have a public car park located over the road.
