About
Port na Ba Beach is an unspoilt white sandy beach on the northwestern coastline of Mull with views out to the Isle of Rum. The beach translates to ‘Beach of the Cattle’ because cattle from Tiree and Coll swam ashore here en route to the mainland markets.
This is about as remote as you can get, requiring a walk to visit. Once here, you have an unspoilt sandy beach with plenty of rock pools. You may even see seals and otters.
Dog Access and Rules
Dog-friendly all year round although you need to be aware of wildlife and be ready with a lead.
Access and Facilities
Port na Ba beach has no facilities, and the closest village is Croig, which is a 2km walk away.
