About
Sheerness Beach is sand and shingle at the mouth of the Thames and Medway estuaries.
The beach is backed by a large concrete sea wall separating the beach from the promenade. At high tide, the sea comes to the sea wall; at low tide, you have a large shingle and sandy beach with pools to explore.
Dogs are not allowed on Sheerness Beach during the summer – 1 May and 30 September.
Facilities include toilets at the leisure centre, car parking, a swimming pool and cafes/restaurants on the High Street.
