About
Hopeman has two large sandy beaches split by the harbour. The West Beach is smaller whilst the East Beach is larger surrounded by large, grassy sand dunes and has rocky areas with some good rock pools.
You actually have another beach to the east, a smaller hidden beach with stones and rock formations.
If you are lucky you may get to see bottlenose dolphins in the Moray Firth off the coast of Hopeman.
Facilities include parking, beach huts and more in the town of Hopeman itself. The Harbour sits in between the East and West Beaches and no longer supports a fishing fleet but now mainly houses pleasure vessels.
