About
Eaton Park spans an impressive 80 acres in the south-west of Norwich city centre. It was opened in 1928 as part of Norwich’s post-World War I initiative to create spaces for recreation and community. You have the bandstand, yachting/model boat pond, and lily pond at the park’s centre.
Take your dog for a walk along the wide, tree-lined paths and through landscaped gardens. With plenty of sights and smells, your dog will love the variety and a great break from the busy city centre.
Dog Access and Rules
Eaton Park is exceptionally welcoming to dogs, with open spaces where they can accompany you on-lead. While your dog can’t access enclosed play areas or sports facilities, the fields, gardens, and paths ensure plenty for them to explore. You can also grab a drink and a snack at the dog-friendly cafe in the park.
Access and Facilities
Eaton Park is easily accessible by car, public transport, or on foot. There is ample parking on-site, and buses from Norwich city centre stop close to the park, making it a convenient destination.
The park facilities include public toilets, and the Eaton Park Cafe welcomes well-behaved dogs on leads.
