About
Overstrand Beach is a sandy beach with traditional wooden groynes below the cliff-top village of Overstrand, about one and a half miles to the south of Cromer. This is a very large beach as the tide goes out but at high tide, all you have is the concrete promenade.
Overstrand Beach has a seasonal dog ban between the 1st of May and the 30th of September. This ban applies to the main area of the beach and dogs are to be kept on leads on the promenade.
Car park at the top of the cliff and a path snakes down to the beach, nearby Overstrand village has a shop, post office, pubs and a cafe on the cliff top.
