Overstrand Beach is a sandy beach with traditional wooden groynes below the cliff-top village of Overstrand, about 1.5 miles south of Cromer. It is a very large beach at low tide, but at high tide you’re left with only the concrete promenade.
Dog Access and Rules
Overstrand Beach has a seasonal dog ban from 1 May to 30 September. This ban applies to the main beach area, and dogs must be kept on leads on the promenade.

Access and Facilities
A car park is at the top of the cliff, and a path snakes down to the beach. Nearby, Overstrand village has a shop, post office, pubs, and a cafe on the clifftop.
