About
Walcott Beach, also known as Walcott Gap, has several points with steps where you can access the beach through the large concrete sea defences. The beach is sandy, with wooden groynes that help reduce sand movement and provide some shelter.
Dog Access and Rules
Walcott Beach has a seasonal dog ban between the main groynes from 1 May to 30 September. Other areas are dog-friendly, and beach signage provides more detail.
